Merry Christmas!! We had a wonderful Christmas and were so lucky to have Aunt Sara here to spend it with us. What a TREAT! We went to Christmas Eve Mass and out to dinner to our (charlie and I) favorite restaurant with the kids :) They thought it was such a treat to eat at a "special" restaurant where just Mommy and Daddy go throughout the year!
The kids went to bed fairly easily. They were anxious to go to sleep, however, they were in our bed by midnight! Kaitlyn was CONVINCED she was hearing Santa's bells, the reindeer on our rooftop, Santa's Ho, Ho, Ho...all night. So, every so often, she would wake us up to ask if we heard it. Ryan came into bed around 1 AM with us....There was not much room for 4 of us in bed, so Charlie (my sweet hubby) slept across the bottom of the queen bed, as the kids and I slept at the top! HA! It was a site....needless to say, no one had much sleep!
Finally, at 5 AM, we were up.....We waited until closer to 6 AM to wake up Aunt Sara and Anderson and we headed downstairs to SCREAMS of complete JOY! It was wonderful. Such a great morning celebrating Jesus' birthday and family!
