Yesterday we had a BIG day at gymnastics. It was "awards" day today.....Kaitlyn and Ryan got to stand up on the red mat and have their coaches talk about them.

Kaitlyn stood up there (without crying, which was a FIRST!!!) and the teacher said what a GREAT job she does, especially at bars and how she is blossoming so much. Six months ago, Kaitlyn would not even put her belly to the bars, and now she can do a pull over by herself! WOW! Kaitlyn was also asked to "move up" to the Elite program, which will start next week. YAHOO!

Ryan stood up on the mat, the coach said he was the best listener and the "go to" guy when she needs an example. She said that Ryan always knows how to demonstrate for his peers and does a great job at it.

Since Ryan had been there for 1 year, Ryan got a TROPHY!!! He was so excited! (we've been there longer, but we were thru the gym for 10 months, then had to switch to the "city" class and pay thru the city b/c of times, then we went back to the gym....we have officially been back at the gym for a year, although it has been 30 months since we started!)

Charlie was able to get away from work for 1/2 hour to see all the excitement. It was a fun day at gymanstics!
